Pool Tripping

After redoing the blog twice, trying to get all the pictures in sequence - we still ended up with the end first and the beginning last.  Oh well!
This was the kid's favorite place for snacks.  Cool!

Grammie and Jacob lounging with Amy and Caleb cooling their feet

Everyone enjoying freeze pops.  Me Me!

This was the first time that the family had enjoyed the pool.  Leah and Alex came down for the big game - GO COUGARS!  It was fun to have everyone help us break in the pool.  Now we just have to get the backyard in shape again with landscaping.
Our camera battery died before we could get pictures of any more of the fun.
Scott could hardly wait till it was OK to jump in the pool.  He went out at 6:45 AM before school so that he could be the first one in the pool.
Here's the finished product.  Just waiting for us to enjoy.
Plastered and just starting to fill it up.  It took about 30 hours to completely fill the pool.
Here's what it looked like when they finished putting on the plaster.  We had to immediately start filling the pool with water.
Setting up the steel for the salt-finish decking.
After the gunite was sprayed onto the steel forms.
Laying down the steel to get ready for the gunite.
Digging the hole.  Amy and Garick were able to come by to watch the equipment working in the backyard.  Garick loved to watch the track-hoe work.
